Mesterolone, better known under the trade name Proviron, is a steroid hormone product that is used as a protector in testosterone cycles. It was originally invented as a product to increase testosterone in men with low natural levels. Proviron blocks the conversion of testosterone into unnecessary and unpleasant compounds for the body such as DHT – dehydrotestosterone, which is the cause of baldness, acne, oily skin, etc. It has been scientifically proven that Proviron also reduces the levels of the female sex hormone estrogen and helps prevent testosterone from aromatizing into estrogen.
